The German, Indian engineering relationship is old, deep and specific. German machine tools, German automation and German instrumentation are installed across Indian manufacturing, and the traffic that generates, spares, controllers, first articles, calibration standards, is exactly the profile a hand-carry serves.
Pharmaceuticals run the other way in volume. Stability samples, reference standards, batch documentation and regulatory originals move between Indian manufacturers and European authorities and laboratories continuously, on regulatory clocks that do not negotiate.
And then there is the paperwork. Indian legalisation, attestation and tender processes still turn on physical originals with the right stamps in the right order, and a courier who can carry the folder from one counter to the next is doing something a tracking number structurally cannot.
