01How fast can a courier reach Saudi Arabia from the UAE?
Flying time is 2h 05m to Riyadh, 2h 55m to Jeddah, 1h 30m to Dammam. Add the collection in the Emirates, the airport process at both ends and the delivery, and realistically it is 6 to 10 hours Dubai to a Riyadh or Dammam consignee, same working day in nearly all cases. More than 20 departures a day from the UAE across Emirates, flydubai, Saudia, Air Arabia and flynas, so the wait for a departure is rarely what holds an assignment up on this lane.
02What does customs look like in Saudi Arabia?
Saudi Arabia requires a SABER certificate of conformity for most regulated product categories and a Fasah customs declaration, and the importer of record must hold a valid commercial registration. This is the single most common reason a Saudi hand-carry stalls, not the flight, not the airport, but a consignee whose import documentation is not in order. We check it before the courier leaves, because at Riyadh it is far too late.
03Which airports do you use for Saudi Arabia?
King Khalid International (RUH) in Riyadh, King Abdulaziz International (JED) in Jeddah, King Fahd International (DMM) in Dammam, Prince Mohammad Bin Abdulaziz (MED) in Medina, Neom Bay (NUM) in Neom, Yanbu (YNB) in Yanbu. Choosing the right gateway is part of the quote, in this region the wrong one can mean a domestic sector and a lost day.
04Which cities in Saudi Arabia do you cover?
All of them. Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam have their own pages with the local detail; anywhere else is a delivery leg we price from the arrival airport.
05Who books hand-carry into Saudi Arabia?
Mostly oil and gas (Aramco and the eastern province), petrochemicals and refining, giga-project construction (NEOM, the Red Sea, Qiddiya, Diriyah). Saudi Arabia is the largest economy in the GCC and the closest major market to the UAE, which makes it a genuine same-day lane rather than an aspirational one. Dammam is barely ninety minutes in the air. The giga-projects have concentrated an enormous amount of imported specialist equipment into a country whose domestic supply chain cannot yet carry the spares, and Aramco's downtime economics are the most unforgiving in the region.
06Do you collect in Saudi Arabia and deliver into the UAE?
Yes, every lane runs both ways. Where we have a courier already positioned in Saudi Arabia there is no outbound leg to pay for, which makes the inbound direction faster and cheaper. Third-country legs are quoted on request.
07Does the consignment ever go into the hold?
Direct courier custody runs for every sector. Cabin carriage is the preferred configuration and is what we book wherever the airline and the applicable rules permit it; otherwise the consignment travels under an approved accompanied process, still under documented courier responsibility. We confirm which applies before you book.
08How is delivery proven?
Signature, printed name and an identification reference, timestamped, plus photographs where you have asked for them, produced by the courier at the moment of handover, not generated by a depot three hours later.
09What does it cost?
A fixed price before the courier moves, covering the ticket, the courier fee, transfers and a hotel where an overnight is unavoidable. The largest variable by far is how much notice you give us: a seat bought four hours before departure costs what it costs, and none of that is our margin.
