If you apply as a courier: your name, contact details, date of birth, nationality, address, passport and visa data, police clearance, bank details for payouts, your availability and your assignment history. We use this to verify eligibility, to book travel in the name that matches your passport, to pay you, and to meet our obligations to clients and authorities. Providing this data is necessary to work with us as a courier.
If you simply visit the website: standard server log data such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, used to keep the site available and secure.
We process personal data to perform a contract with you or to take steps at your request before entering one; to comply with legal obligations including customs, aviation security and anti-money-laundering rules; and for our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the service. Where consent is required, for example for marketing messages, we ask for it and you can withdraw it at any time.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.
Because assignments cross borders, personal data is necessarily transferred to the countries involved in a routing. Where data leaves the United Arab Emirates we rely on the safeguards available under applicable law and limit what is transferred to what the receiving party needs.
Assignment and invoicing records are kept for the periods required by UAE commercial and tax law. Courier verification documents are kept for as long as you are active in the network and for the retention period that applies afterwards. Quotation enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted once they are no longer useful, and in any event within a reasonable period.
Access to personal data is restricted to the people who need it, systems are protected by authentication and encryption in transit, and courier documents are stored in the portal rather than circulated by email. No system is perfect; if a breach affects you we will tell you and the competent authority as required.
Subject to applicable law you may ask for access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion where we no longer need it, restriction of processing, a copy in a portable format, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Write to info [at] onboardcourier [dot] ae and we will respond within the period the law allows. Some data, for example customs and financial records, we are obliged to retain even after a deletion request.
This website uses only what it needs to function and to understand aggregate traffic. We do not use advertising trackers or sell audience data. Your browser can block or delete cookies at any time; the site continues to work without them.
Operational messages about an assignment you have booked, quotations, departure times, proof of delivery, are part of the service. Marketing messages are sent only where you have asked for them, and every one contains a way to stop them.
Our services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, and couriers must be at least 21.
We update this policy when our processing changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised, and material changes are highlighted to clients and couriers.
