If you are working against a line stoppage or an aircraft on ground, say so in the first sentence. It changes what the desk looks at first: with an aircraft grounded we start from the next departure and work backwards to whether the part can reach the airport in time, rather than starting from the cheapest routing. Minutes there are worth more than a tidy enquiry.
Contact
One desk answers, and it answers quickly.
A quote inside fifteen minutes. The operations centre is awake around the clock, every day of the year.
One desk answers and it answers quickly: tell us what has to fly. We answer with a flight and a price.
Five short questions. A dispatcher replies with a named departure, the delivery hour and one fixed price, day and night.
- One named courier from collection to signature
- Customs cleared in person on arrival
- Licensed UAE company, proper VAT invoices
What to send us
The fastest quote comes from four facts, and you almost certainly have all four in front of you already: where the consignment is now, where it has to be, what it is, and by when. Everything else can follow. If the item is unusual, tell us what it is rather than what category it belongs to, because a lithium cell, a passport and a machine part are three different conversations with three different airlines.
You do not need a purchase order, an account or a contract to ask. Most first enquiries come from somebody who has just been told that a shipment will not make it and who has never booked a hand carry before. Ask badly and quickly rather than well and late.
How fast, honestly
Fifteen minutes is the target for a firm price on a lane we already fly, in normal conditions, and it is met most of the time. An unusual commodity, a country with a visa requirement for the courier, or a routing nobody has flown for us before takes longer, and the desk will say so rather than send you a number it cannot hold. A price we quote is a price we keep.
Out of hours the desk is genuinely staffed rather than forwarded to a voicemail, because the whole point of this service is the consignment that goes wrong at two in the morning. What changes at night is not whether somebody answers, it is how many flights are left to work with.
Three departure boards, one desk: Emirates, flydubai and Etihad for One desk answers and it answers quickly
A hand-carry is only as fast as the next departure. The desk watches three boards at once and books the one that lands first, then holds the one that leaves next.
The night bank out of Terminal 3
Between one and four in the morning Emirates pushes back a wave of widebodies from Terminal 3 that reach Europe before the first meeting and Asia by the afternoon. For One desk answers and it answers quickly that wave is the reason a courier confirmed at eight in the evening is still delivering the next day.
Widebody only, non-stop to 140 plus citiesThe short sectors, several times a day
From Terminal 2 flydubai runs the one to five hour sectors: the Caucasus, Central Asia, East Africa, the Balkans, the subcontinent. Where a widebody leaves once a day, flydubai often leaves three times, which turns a missed slot into a ninety minute delay rather than a lost day.
Frequency is the fallbackAbu Dhabi as the second runway
Ninety minutes down the E11, Etihad leaves from Zayed International with its own bank of departures and, for the United States, immigration cleared before boarding. When the Dubai departure for One desk answers and it answers quickly is gone, the desk looks at Abu Dhabi before it looks at tomorrow.
US preclearance at AUHThe desk holds no allegiance to a carrier. The booking goes to whichever board puts a courier at One desk answers and it answers quickly first, at a fare the quote can carry.
One desk answers and it answers quickly: every hour it waits is an hour it is not moving.
Five questions, one fixed price, a named flight. The desk answers within 15 minutes, day and night, and you decide.
Reaching us
Quotes and bookings: bookings [at] onboardcourier [dot] ae, or the form on this page, which reaches the same desk.
Everything else: info [at] onboardcourier [dot] ae.
Couriers: applications go through the courier application, not the booking desk, and existing couriers sign in at the courier portal.
Existing clients: the client portal carries your consignments, documents and invoices.
The entity. Assignments are contracted by ICSL FZE, licensed in Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone, with a Dubai branch at Exchange Tower. The full entity and regulatory details are on the imprint, and the terms that govern a booking are published in full under legal and policies so you can read them before you confirm rather than after.
Before you write, you may not need to. How a hand carry actually runs answers the process questions, the same page covers what drives a price, and the route calculator will tell you in a second whether your pair can be flown today and through where. If the answer you need is in one of those, you have it now rather than in fifteen minutes.
