On Board Courier, Germany

Fly with time-critical consignments from the Emirates to Germany. Freelance, self-employed, per assignment, briefed and coordinated by a 24/7 desk.

OnBoard Courier is a United Arab Emirates company, contracted by ICSL FZE and run from Dubai. A country named on this site is a country we cover and route through, not a separate company in that country. Assignments are contracted under UAE law, and the terms are published in full under legal and policies.

What the work pays

The fee for an assignment is agreed with you in writing before you accept it. These are the figures the site publishes, and what the desk covers on top of them.

Top published feeAED 2,000The highest fee the site shows for a single assignment: sealed medical samples in a cooled case, Dubai to Singapore.
Published band, per assignmentAED 900 to 2,600A document pouch to London is AED 1,200, an aircraft part to Frankfurt AED 1,500, an escorted watch on the Berlin lane AED 1,800.
What the flight costs youAED 0The desk books and pays the ticket, the transfers and, where the routing needs it, the hotel. A courier never fronts the fare.
The one payment you makeAED 199, returnedThe Academy, paid once. It comes back in full on top of the fee for your first completed assignment. Applying itself is free.

Fees vary with the lane, the notice, the waiting time and whether the return is immediate, so the desk quotes each assignment individually rather than pretending one number fits every trip. You are self-employed and there is no minimum: accept or decline whatever you like, and declining costs you nothing. Earnings are paid per delivery by bank transfer, they appear in your courier portal, and you can request a payout once the balance reaches AED 200. Apply and see the flight board.

You fly as a passengerOne consignment in the cabin, one handover against signature. No warehouse, no van, no round.

How to start, in four steps

1

Apply once

One application covers every country desk. Tell us which passports you hold and where you can travel.

2

Verification and the Academy

Identity and background check, then a short course on customs, handovers and chain of custody.

3

Your first offer

The desk sends the routing, the dates and the fee in writing. You accept or decline, nothing is automatic.

4

Fly, hand over, get paid

Collect, board, clear customs in person, hand over against signature, and the fee is paid to your account.

The assignment

01

Worldwide, always ready. We are open to couriers who can fly the Germany lane. This is not a salaried post and it is not a delivery round: it is assignment work. When a client in the Emirates has something that has to be in Germany by hand, the desk books a named courier onto the next usable seat, and that courier travels with the consignment in the cabin from door to signature.

02

On this desk that means roughly 6h 13m in the air from the Gulf to Frankfurt, plus the ground legs at both ends. Most assignments are out-and-back within a short window; some ask the courier to wait for a return consignment. The desk tells you which before you accept.

The engagement, and who we are looking for

The engagement

  • Type: freelance, self-employed. You are an independent courier accepting individual assignments, not an employee, and you decide which ones you take.
  • Where it starts: the assignment begins in the United Arab Emirates and ends in Germany, with the return leg agreed per mission.
  • Hours: variable. An assignment is a single trip, not a shift or a roster.
  • How you are paid: a fee per completed assignment, agreed in writing before you accept it. There is no fixed salary and no roster, the fee reflects the lane, the notice, the waiting time and whether the return is immediate, so it is quoted per mission rather than as one number that would fit none of them.
  • Applying is free. No payment is required to apply, to be screened or to be placed on the courier list. As a self-employed courier you may choose to take up training or carry tracking equipment; the desk explains any such arrangement in writing, separately, before you commit to it.
  • Applications: open. Apply once and the desk matches you to the lanes your passport and availability actually allow.

What we look for

  • A passport with comfortable remaining validity and free pages, and the right to enter Germany, the desk checks the visa position for your specific passport before any assignment is offered.
  • A clean background check and a willingness to be verified. Couriers carry other people’s property.
  • Availability at short notice. Most missions are confirmed hours, not days, before departure.
  • Presentable, calm and articulate at a customs counter. The consignment is only as smooth as the person carrying it.
  • A working phone, reachable on the number you gave us, for the whole assignment.
  • Comfort with a same-day turn: land, hand over against signature, and often fly back.

What we provide

  • The ticket. Always. A courier never pays for the flight and never fronts the fare.
  • The paperwork, prepared before you reach the airport, and a named contact at the desk on both ends.
  • A briefing on the consignment, the consignee and what the customs position at Germany looks like.
  • A fee per completed assignment, agreed with you in advance. It varies with lane length, notice, waiting time and whether the return is immediate, so we quote it per mission rather than pretending a single number fits every trip.

Cities on the Germany list

A country is where a consignment clears customs; a courier lives in a city. The 137 Germany cities below each have their own posting, with the airport that city can actually reach by road, the measured drive, what that airport flies to without a change, and the industry inside its catchment. The country desk above stays the general application.

Questions about courier work to and from Germany

01Do I need to live in the UAE to fly this desk?

Not necessarily. Most assignments start in the Emirates, so couriers based here are booked most often, but the desk also positions couriers where a lane makes that the faster option. Tell us where you are based when you apply.

02How much notice do I get?

Usually hours. An urgent hand-carry exists because something already went wrong, so the desk calls the couriers who can realistically reach the airport in time. You are free to decline any assignment.

03Does it cost anything to apply?

No. Applying is free and no payment is required to be screened or to be placed on the courier list. Because couriers are self-employed, some choose to take up training or to carry tracking equipment; the desk sets out any such arrangement in writing and separately from the application.

04How is my fee agreed?

The desk sends the routing, the timing and the fee for that specific assignment in writing. You accept or decline it. Nothing is deducted or charged without your written agreement.

05What happens at Germany customs?

You present the documents prepared for you and declare exactly what you are carrying. You are never asked to carry something undeclared, unsealed or unknown, and you never sign for goods you have not seen.

Work out what it pays

Pick an assignment and how often you would fly. The fees are the ones this site publishes, nothing is averaged and nothing is guessed.

You fly Emirates, flydubai and Etihad. The desk books, you board.

Every assignment is a real ticket on a scheduled flight, paid before you leave for the airport. Three carriers do most of the flying.

Emirates

The long night sectors

Terminal 3, a widebody, a departure after midnight and a handover before lunch in Europe. Most first assignments look like this.

flydubai

The short hops, back the same day

Terminal 2, two to five hours out, often home on the evening rotation. The Caucasus, Central Asia, East Africa, the subcontinent.

Etihad

Abu Dhabi, when Dubai has left

A transfer down the E11 and a seat on the Abu Dhabi bank. For the United States, immigration is cleared before boarding.

The desk books and pays the ticket, and your fee reaches you after the signature. Nothing is deducted from it and no commission is taken.
