Leaving the district, the route is out to Sheikh Zayed Road and northbound to Al Garhoud Bridge, which is forty to fifty-five minutes to DXB in fair conditions. Weekend evenings are the exception worth planning around, because the beachfront, the island and the Marina all empty onto the same interchanges at the same time.
