This is the category where the courier model earns its keep and also where it has to be most honest about its limits. A clinical sample has a stability window measured in hours, a defined temperature range, and a chain of custody that a monitor or an inspector may later want to read. What it does not tolerate is a consolidation window, a depot, or a handover to somebody whose name nobody wrote down.
