The assignment
Emirates and Etihad both fly the Gulf to Pearson nonstop, about thirteen and a half hours. Handovers happen downtown in the financial district, at laboratories in Mississauga and the western suburbs, and occasionally at a legal office; the offer names the address and includes the ground leg.
Why this lane exists
Toronto is where a very large share of the world’s mining companies raise money and file their disclosure, and disclosure depends on samples that were handled correctly. A parcel of core or concentrate that cannot demonstrate an unbroken custody record is worth nothing to a technical report, and Gulf and African operations routing through Dubai send those parcels to Canadian laboratories constantly.
The same city is a serious financial and pharmaceutical centre, so alongside the samples there is a steady flow of executed corporate documents, clinical material and regulatory submissions between Ontario and the Emirates, all of it on somebody’s filing deadline.

The engagement

- Where it runs: the assignment runs between the United Arab Emirates and Toronto, Canada, with the return leg agreed per mission.
- Hours: variable. An assignment is a single trip, not a shift or a roster.
- How you are paid: a fee per completed assignment, agreed in writing before you accept it. The fees published on this site run from AED 1,200 for a document pouch to AED 2,000 for a cooled medical consignment, and the figure for your assignment reflects the lane, the notice, the waiting time and whether the return is immediate.

- A passport with comfortable remaining validity and free pages, and the right to enter Canada. The desk checks the visa position for your specific passport before any assignment is offered.
- A clean background check and a willingness to be verified. Couriers carry other people’s property.
- Availability at short notice. Most assignments are confirmed hours, not days, before departure.
- Presentable, calm and articulate at a customs counter. The consignment is only as smooth as the person carrying it.
- A working phone, reachable on the number you gave us, for the whole assignment.

Questions about courier work to and from Toronto
01Why does chain of custody matter so much here?
Because a laboratory result is only accepted if the sample can be shown to have been sealed at origin and unbroken on arrival. You keep the seal intact, you sign the custody form at both ends, and you do not let the parcel out of your possession. That is the whole product.
02Do I need a Canadian visa?
You need the right to enter Canada on the passport you hold, which for many passports means an electronic travel authorisation and for others a visitor visa. The desk checks your specific position before an assignment is offered.
03Are mineral samples a customs problem?
They are a customs conversation, and it is prepared for you. Samples travel declared with their description, origin and purpose documented, and you are never asked to carry something undeclared or unknown.
04Is it a same day turn?
Rarely. Thirteen and a half hours out and a laboratory or office handover means an overnight in almost every case, booked and paid before you leave.
05How is my fee agreed?
The desk sends the routing, the timing and the fee for that specific assignment in writing. You accept or decline it. Nothing is deducted or charged without your written agreement.
