Fees vary with the lane, the notice, the waiting time and whether the return is immediate, so the desk quotes each assignment individually rather than pretending one number fits every trip. You are self-employed and there is no minimum: accept or decline whatever you like, and declining costs you nothing. The assignment
Departures run from Dubai International, Al Maktoum and Sharjah, and the desk picks whichever bank of flights gets the consignment there soonest. Collections happen at offices in the free zones, at the gold and commodities district, at hospitals and at the cargo village, and the desk arranges the transfer to the airport as part of the assignment.
Why this lane exists
Dubai works as a hand carry origin for one boring reason: the flight bank. Three airlines flying to hundreds of destinations from three airports inside an hour of each other means there is nearly always a usable seat within the next few hours, in almost any direction. No other city in the region offers that.
The demand is local and constant. Aviation, healthcare, trading, jewellery, engineering and legal work all sit in the same forty kilometres, all of them deal with counterparties on other continents, and all of them occasionally need a person on a plane today rather than a service level agreement.

The fees published on this site run from AED 1,200 for a document pouch to AED 2,000 for a cooled medical consignment, and the figure for your assignment reflects the lane, the notice, the waiting time and whether the return is immediate.

- Applying is free. No payment is required to apply, to be screened or to be placed on the courier list. The Academy costs AED 199, paid once, and is returned in full on top of the fee for your first completed assignment. It is the only payment a courier ever makes to us.
What we look for
- A passport with comfortable remaining validity and free pages, and the right to enter the United Arab Emirates. The desk checks the visa position for your specific passport before any assignment is offered.
- A clean background check and a willingness to be verified. Couriers carry other people’s property.
- Availability at short notice. Most assignments are confirmed hours, not days, before departure.
- Presentable, calm and articulate at a customs counter. The consignment is only as smooth as the person carrying it.
- A working phone, reachable on the number you gave us, for the whole assignment.

Questions about courier work to and from Dubai
01Do I have to be a UAE resident?
For this particular position, effectively yes, because the whole point of it is being able to reach a Dubai or Sharjah departure gate at short notice. If you live elsewhere, apply anyway: the same application covers every other desk.
02Which airport would I leave from?
Whichever one has the seat. Dubai International for the Emirates and flydubai banks, Al Maktoum for some flydubai and charter movements, Sharjah for Air Arabia. The offer names the airport, the terminal and the collection point.
03How quickly do I have to be able to move?
The desk plans around your honest answer, so give it one. Couriers who can be at a terminal within two hours get the urgent work; couriers who need a day get the planned work. Both exist.
04Am I an employee of a Dubai company?
No. You are an independent, self-employed courier accepting individual assignments. There is no salary, no roster and no obligation to accept anything, and the fee for each assignment is agreed with you in writing beforehand.
05How is my fee agreed?
The desk sends the routing, the timing and the fee for that specific assignment in writing. You accept or decline it. Nothing is deducted or charged without your written agreement.
